  • Mail that is sent to any branch office will be returned to sender.
  • Processing of Property Tax payments will be based on the postmark received at the post office. View the Property Tax Discount Periods for payment deadlines. Exception: The postmark does not apply to delinquent taxes.
  • Motor vehicle and boat registrations expire on the first registered owner's birthday, regardless of postmark. Exceptions: Business-owned vehicles expire June 30, and mobile homes and trucks over 5,000 lbs. expire December 31.
  • If completed by mail, title transfer paperwork must be mailed overnight mail or certified mail, so that it may be tracked by the sender. The sender is responsible to confirm delivery of title paperwork to our office with the mail provider (i.e., Fed Ex, UPS, and USPS). View title by mail requirements for complete details.
