Customer Registration Stops – Withholding Registration for Unpaid Registration Fees.

As a licensed dealer, did you know that you now have the ability to place a stop on your customer’s DMV record for “unpaid registration fees”? This feature will prevent your customer from renewing their registrations until they have paid their fees and have the stop removed.

For information on how to place a customer stop, visit the DMV Procedure: RS-50, located at the states website for details:
http://casey.hsmv.state.fl.us/Intranet/dmv/Manuals/DMVProcedures/BTR/RS/RS-50.pdf

(To place your customer on the list of withholding registration, you will have to submit your paperwork to the DMV Department in Tallahassee)
