Lauren DiUlio is the Manatee County Tax Collector's Employee of the Third Quarter (Published 07-09-2018)
Lauren DiUlio was selected as the Manatee County Tax Collector's Employee of the Quarter for the 3rd Quarter 2018. A graduate of Flagler College in St. Augustine, she came on board in August 2015.Lauren began her career as an associate in the Customer Solutions and Associate Development (CSAD) Department processing DMV, property tax and driver license transactions. After excelling in customer service, she was transferred to the Quality Assurance Team in July 2016. In her new position, Lauren managed daily DHSMV reports, quality control audits, supply and personalized license plate orders. She also assumed responsibilities for New Hire Classroom and Counter Training. In March 2018, Lauren began cross-training for the position of Executive Assistant to the CSAD Director which includes involvement in the Office's hiring and interview process, and responsibility for the department's budget, monthly departmental metrics and high-level processes.
"It is difficult to believe that Lauren has been with us only three years," said Tax Collector Ken Burton, Jr. "From the first day, she has had the determination to learn each position and perform with excellence. In one year, 2017, she applied for and was selected to the Florida Sterling Conference Team, was named Rookie of the Year and achieved perfect attendance, whereby the employee has no unscheduled absences, and no late arrivals or tardies from lunch or breaks. These are examples of her personal quest to be the very best."
"Lauren is an incredibly quick learner who has shined in every position in which she has served," said Tony Conboy, CSAD Director. "We have confidence in her ability to understand and respond to the many things that come her way."
"No matter what task Lauren is assigned, I know that she will give 100% and always does it with a smile," said CSAD Assistant Director Ronda French. "She exemplifies our core values of excellence and accountability, integrity and respect, teamwork, innovation, customer focus and future focus."
As Employee of the Quarter, Lauren's name is engraved on the trophy; she receives a merit certificate, a reserved parking space, a uni-leave day, gets to name a themed casual day, and receives a free pizza from Demetrio's Pizza House, Cortez Road.
