Out-of-state Commercial Learner's Permit (CLP) changes (Published 09-20-2018)
Effective immediately, all out-of-state Commercial Learner's Permit (CLP) holders who apply for an original or an upgraded Florida CDL must hold a valid Florida license and be issued a Florida CLP. CLPs from other states will not be reciprocated, and the applicant must take and pass all required knowledge exams for the CLP they are requesting.More news
