Renewing your registration/decal can be easily done by the mail. Mail-in renewals have increased from 19% to over 57% in the past few years. Since 1994, there has been a major downsizing at the State Government level, with more work downloaded at the local level where it needed to be in the first place. By pushing mail-in transactions and waiving the $0.50 branch fee per renewal, we can better serve those that have to come in to transfer titles, renew driver licenses, correct problems, etc. We have been able to do this without having to hire additional staff, which allows us to provide better and more efficient service.
