You will need to contact your bank, financial institution or lease company to request that the title be sent to you. Once you receive the title, refer to our out-of-state title transfer publication for more information.
Are you still making payments?
If your bank or lease company holds the title to your car/boat, you may qualify for the "Registration Only" process. This allows you to purchase a Florida license plate/decal while your vehicle/boat remains titled in another state.
