**An appointment is required to process any hunting and fishing license/permit transactions at our Driver License Office located at 904 - 301 Blvd W, Bradenton. Visit taxcollector.com to schedule an appointment. (Our other office locations cannot sell hunting and fishing licenses/permits.)**
Annual fresh/saltwater fishing licenses expire 12 months from the date of issuance; three day and seven day fresh or saltwater fishing licenses expire three or seven days from the date of issuance. Snook and crawfish permits also expire 12 months from the date of issuance.
Can I buy a fishing license that's valid for more than a year?
Yes; there are 5-year fresh/saltwater fishing licenses and hunting licenses available. You may also be eligible to purchase a lifetime license. The fee is based on your age at the time of purchase. Proof of age is required. Lifetime Applications for children will require you to present an original birth certificate. These licenses can only be obtained by Florida residents.
