Who is required to pay tourist tax?

Anyone who rents, leases, lets, or grants a license to use living quarters or sleeping/housekeeping accommodations for six months or less must pay tourist tax, which is also known as tourist development tax and resort tax. For details, see Florida Statute 125.0104.
